Up, Up and Away....Santa's Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway Christmas Day

The Christmas that Santa headed South,

His sleigh broke down somewhere near Lynmouth...

Rudolph's hooves got stuck in the sand,

When he came down on the beach to land !

The tide was coming in quite quick...

So the fairy performed a magic trick !

She waved her wand and started an airlift...

One by one of every Christmas gift...

They all floated off through the air...

Landed on the Lynton cliff railway where...

They got piled up on high...

And zoomed off magically towards the sky !

A little bit of moondust sprinkled all around,

Making the railway fly high above the ground...

Very soon, the cliff railway reached the Moon,

Where Santa ate cream cheese with a spoon...

The Lynton and Lynmouth cliff railway sailed away,

Around Pluto, next to Santa's sleigh...

Off through the stars...somewhere near Mars,

The Lynton and the Lynmouth railway was the fastest by far...

Faster at first...it carried on through the universe !

Then headed back home, before the weather got any worse !
