Santa's Christmas on Ebay

"There's a hole in my Christmas stocking !", Santa loudly declared,

The unravelled knitting was really quite shocking - he absolutely despaired !

At first, he tried a bit of glue,

Then a piece of sellotape too !

The odd bit of knitting -

And a stitch or two...still didn't quite fix the problem,

What was he going to do ?

He stopped off at the shops, but it was no good,

His sleigh got stuck in the mud ! he felt a real Christmas pud

Besides, they only had size eight

And for more, he couldn't wait !

Santa shopped often at Christmas time,

But he had never shopped this way, online !

So he sat down by his P.C..

Eating a turkey sandwich for his tea ....

First, he logged on to E bay ....

Hoping to find a pair before Christmas day.....

For a pound, he found ..... some tights ....

(Not quite the thing for cold, Christmas nights !)

The sale on e bay was all in the news...

But he couldn't decide what colour to choose !

Red ones or blue or green one instead ?!

Size eight or size nine - he hoped he'd find them soon online....

Of course, being e bay - his dreams quickly came true,

When a pair appeared before his eyes, as magical stockings of ten do !

He bought them for a tenner,

Not bad for a beginner !
