The Most Magic Ghost

Writer: jjacquirjjacquir

The most magic ghost was so magic that it made everything around it disappear. As soon as the most magic ghost sat at the breakfast table, all the fried eggs that had been cooking in the frying pan all morning disappeared. No more tomatoes, no more mushrooms, no more toast. The magic ghost performed a magic vanishing trick on the jar of honey and strawberry jam ... The most magic ghost must have had buttery fingers because the packet of cornflakes that he tried to grasp hold of slipped underneath the table. The most magic ghost made the knives, forks and spoons also disappear - the next time you looked, they were in the sink ! And the next time you looked after that ... they had gone down the plughole. The most magic ghost must have cast a bad spell ... because the tablecloth rose up and the cups and saucers as well. The most magic ghost magicked on the tomato ketchup and before long, there were red splashes on the rug. The door slammed shut ... the windows, too ... the most magic ghost made that disappear, too. When the most magic ghost went outside, everything in the garden, also went to hide. Flowers disappeared into the flower bed - they must have been rather sleepy - and gone to rest their head. The most magic ghost magicked on the garden shed and soon - the gardener thought that he had thieves because the spade, trowel and lawnmower were nowhere to be found. It was the magic ghost that was responsible, of course. The most magic ghost created chaos and so much commotion that the cushions in the living room also flew through the air like poltergeists do. The picture frames fell off the wall, the fruit bowl turned over and on top of it all ... the living room rug curled up in a heap ... it was the most magic ghost, of course, gone off at the deep. The most magic ghost went to the shops .... and soon there were and empty holes on the shelves and cans of pop started to drop. The most magic ghost was so magic that if a glass of juice was poured on the table, the fizzy bubbles popped and inch by inch, the juice started to disappear. The ice melted and soon there were no biscuits left on the plate. The sandwiches too disappeared one bite at a time ... the most magic ghost must have been hungry because it didn't even leave any crumbs. Magic.
