The magic chess board was so magic that when it was knocked over - the chess pieces bounced off the floor and back onto the board and through the door. The chess pieces loved music. Every time the rythmn beat, the Bishop started tapping his feet. Even the Queen started to waltz. The magic chess board was so magic that the chess pieces all started to swap places. As soon as music started to play, the Queen was dancing with the King and all the pawns started to sway. Before long, they started a line dance - it really was a merry old prance. The magic chess board was so magic that every time the drum struck, the Bishop started to twist and turn about. Everyone loved, the King's song - and they were all dancing before very long. Even the King and Queen were soon rocking and rolling. As soon as the music started tolling. The magic chess board was so magic that it made the draughts jive and when the music swapped, they all came alive. When the magic chess board was knocked over, suddenly there was chaos and the chess pieces started to dance. Soon all the chess board pieces were mixed up and mis - matched. The pawns all toppled over and the Queen changed places with the King. The Knight jumped forwards two places and the Bishop took a step back. Eventually the pawns all lined up again and started to do a line - dance. The magic chess board shook and the Queen walzed to the right hand side with the King. They span around to the amazement of all the other chess pieces, who all clapped and jumped up and down in delight. As the two bishops started to salsa, lights flashed on and off. Black squares became black stripes which switched to white squares. By now the magic chess board almost looked like a spotty dalmation dog ! The Queen accidentally stepped on the Bishop's toes ... and knocked into the King, sending him flying over. By now, the magic chess board was a real dance floor, as all the chess pieces danced the quick step and the pawns did a bit more hokey - cokey, tumbling into one another.
