The Magic Stamp

The most magic stamp in the world was so magic that nothing could stop it stamping. It stamped in the morning till lunch, it stamped all afternoon till tea. The most magic stamp was so busy stamping that it stamped everything flat and made everything else stamp, too. The most magic stamp in the world was so magic that it stuck up the cat's tail ... and stuck his whiskers together. The most magic stamp in the world was so magic that it stuck together the dog's paws ... and also stuck his bowl to his chin. When the cat stamped, the dog stamped as well and before long, everything else was stamping, too. The most magic stamp in the world stamped so much that the entire world shook. As soon as it was posted, it turned into airmail, flew through the air and travelled all by itself around the world. So magic, in fact, that the letter it was put on jumped into the postbox all by itself ... and through the letterbox. The most magic stamp in the world got stuck on the postman's glove ... and very soon he was first class, too. The most magic stamp in the world was so magic that it floated across the English Channel and got stuck on a submarine ... where it swam with fishes underwater before being stuck on the bottom of a boat. The boat sailed to France and the stamp disembarked at Calais. It passed the Eifel tower and almost knocked the hat off a gendarme ... it didn't matter so much that the rain spattered the most magic stamp in the world, it just kept on spinning around on the way. The most magic stamp in the world was so magic that it stuck everything to everything, everywhere.
