The most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that it jumped out of the cupboard all by itself and onto the plate ... the most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that the jar of honey and strawberry jam spread all over the bread all by itself. The most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that when it's buttery crust slipped off the plate and onto the floor - it jumped back onto the plate again and straight into a bowl of cornflakes. The most magic slice of bread and butter soon became a flying saucer that flew through the air and landed on the Moon where the aliens had cream cheese sandwich picnics until the following noon. The most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that when the Sun shone, it became toast. When the most magic slice of bread and butter reached Saturn, it left a trail of buttery bread crumbs around the Milky Way. The most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that it flipped over all by itself ... and when it flipped, everything else in the world flipped, too. Before long, there was utter chaos ! At breakfast, fried eggs and mushrooms landed on the floor as the frying pan flipped and headed towards the door. The toast turned over, jam side up - the saucer ended up on the top side of the cup. The teapot and kettle turned upside down ... In the living room, the rug turned over, the lampshade, too. So had the tables and the chairs just flew. Even the pots started spinning too - round and round ... the knives, forks and spoons clattered to the ground. The tablecloth slipped and headed off downstairs. The most magic slice of bread and butter flipped a bit more as the jug of milk flipped over and started to pour. Even the biscuits started to flutter, all because of the magic slice of bread and butter. When the most magic slice of bread and butter started to flip - everything around it also started to slip. The newspaper turned over the pages by itself ... and even the salt 'n' pepper fell off the shelf. In the garden, the most magic slice of bread and butter made the shed turn and the lawnmower stutter. Even the flowers started to trip - thanks to the magic slice of bread and butter, everything flipped. The curly worms curled a bit more ... and dug a deep hole in the soily garden floor. The garden birds, of course, loved the most magic slice of bread and butter ... but after they had eaten all the bread and buttery crumbs, when they flapped their wings, they flipped over in the air ... the most magic slice of bread and butter flipped a bit more and the seagulls somersaulted over the chimney and fell off the roof. The most magic slice of bread and butter made everything flip in the garden shed, too. Before long, there were hundreds of plant pots on the floor ... and seeds scattered everywhere. The bulbs, planted in early spring, grew the wrong way round, so that soon there were daffodils in the drainpipes ! The trowel changed places with the spade, and the bicycle wheels started flipping too. The most magic slice of bread and butter was so magic that when it flipped, the milk bottles tipped and even the cat rolled over - in fact, the most magic slice of bread and butter made everything a flipping nuisance !
