The Magic Pebble

Writer: jjacquirjjacquir

The magic pebble was so magic that when it rolled down the lane, it made all the other stones roll too. The magic pebble was the fastest pebble in the world. When the magic pebble was thrown, it took a magic net to catch it. The magic pebble was so magic that it could squash a cat walking on the pavement. So magic that the "SPLASH !" it caused when it fell in a puddle, awoke all the ducks ... and made the frogs leap higher than a kangeroo. The magic pebble was so magic that it could be used as a football ... it made a great doorstop ... as well as a super seat. Everything that sat on the magic pebble turned magic, too. One day, a bluebottle fly, tired from flying around, escaping spiders' webs rested on the magic pebble. He stopped flapping his wings a while and stretched his legs ... When he flew off again, he realised that his wings had changed colour somewhat and become more silver ... magically they had grown lighter and flapped twice as quickly. The magic pebble had made the magic bluebottle magic, too ... in fact, the bluebottle had become so magic that it only had to flap it's wings once and it reached the end of the garden. It flapped it's wings twice and it had reached the Moon. The magic bluebottle was so magic that it had orbited around the entire planets of the Solar system in no time at all ... so magic that it was back down to Earth as quick as a flash. Magic.
