No amount of huffing and puffing could get the match to blow out. Once the match was lit - it seemed that it was here to stay. A gale blew in from the windows, and the flame flickered ... but it stayed shining bright. A Northern breeze shook the house - but the match by the fire kept burning. As she was busy spring cleaning, the housemaid shook the rugs and the doors slammed shut. The flame was as strong as ever. As strong as dynamite, in fact. Outside leaves were blown off the trees and flowers were uprooted. Sparks flew but still the match glowed in the dark. Although the wind became colder, and snow started to fall, the match did not blow out. It did wink a bit but still stayed shining bright. The magical match was very useful ... it kept a light all night. It sparkled and shone and didn't ever go out ... no matter how much the wind blew, the rain poured or the snow fell. The magical match was so magical that nothing could stop it burning, giving hope to everyone. Magic.
