The most magic ice cube was so magic that it never melted. No matter how much the Sun shone, whether it was Summer or Spring, the most magic ice cube didn't melt. Although the temperature rose, the ice - cube stayed the same shape - completely square. It's box like icy cube didn't change shape one bit. Outside, people sun bathed in bikins, wearing sunglasses and flip flops - but the most magic ice cube didn't melt one bit. In fact, storm clouds blew overhead and raindrops fell, but the most magic ice cube didn't melt. The wind blew hard - but the most magic ice - cube stayed as stiff as card. Although the most magic ice cube slid about - it simply didn't wear right out. The most magic ice cube fell in a bath ... floating in a bath of hot water - but, despite the steam and all of the bubbles it still didn't melt. In the kitchen, the ice cube fell into a cup of hot tea - it bobbed about a bit but still didn't melt. The most magic ice cube was so magic that even though it sat on the rug in front of the fire - it didn't melt at all. The cat sat on it, thinking it was a soft cushion - before he realised it was as cold as ice, of course ... but still the ice cube didn't melt. One day, however, the ice cube crashed into a rock, as it slipped and slid along it's way. But even though the most magic ice cube disappeared, it was so magic that it quickly reappeared again. When it ducked underwater, it bobbed back up like a rubber dinghy. The most magic ice cube was so magic that it grew ... and grew ... it grew so much it looked like stew.
