The Christmas that Santa Came to Bobby's House

The Christmas that Santa came to Bobby's house,

Santa left behind his naughty, little mouse !

As Santa zoomed off towards the North Pole,

He left the mouse hiding in a tiny hole...

The mouse nibbled a bite in the cheese,

Hoping he wouldn't get caught and nobody sees !

A little bit more of the cheese he stole,

And the odd piece of cracker, which he gobbled up whole !

The mouse scurried across the kitchen floor,

Headed underneath the grotto door...

It created havoc out in the hall -

Hit the Christmas tree and made the baubles fall...

All of that scurrying about, made all the gnomes scream and shout !

Mrs C let the cat out...who was busy in the kitchen, eating a trout !

The cat chased him, but he was too small to catch,

Mrs C tried to spot him by lighting a match !

The mouse head off beneath the table and chairs,

Then quickly led the cat up the stairs !

From the upstairs window, he could see,

The sleigh gliding by speedily....

From the roof, the mouse jumped, landing on Rudolph's nose,

Well, it's the warmest place to be when it snows, everyone knows !)
