The Christmas that Santa Came to Adele's House

The Christmas that Santa came to Adele's house,

Santa came by pony and cart...

She wanted one of Mrs Christmas's apple tarts...

It seemed that Rudolph wasn't feeling too well,

And had a bad bout of flu as well...

So My Little Pony stood in instead,

Pulling the sleigh just as well as Rudolph, it's said !

There still were jingle bells,

And the Christmas fairy cast one of her magic spells...

So Santa's sleigh could fly all the way to Adele's...

My Little Pony knew the way herself,

She'd been given a map by a kind, friendly elf....

Amongst the presents piled up high,

She zoomed overhead through the stars in the sky !

Adele was delighted with her new friend,

When she saw My Little Pony coming around the bend...

Looking from the window, she could see,

A trail of Moondust trailing magically....

The pony's eyes sparkled, her mane shook in the breeze,

She stomped her feet in the cold and flapped her tail with ease....

So instead of a glass of milk and a carrot that year,

Adele left hay by the door with ginger beer....
