The Christmas that Mrs Christmas Bought a Euromillions Lotto Ticket !

Every year, Christmas was so very dear in the grotto,

That Mrs Christmas worried how they would pay for it all...

And bought a ticket for the lotto !

She just hoped in her wildest dreams,

A million pounds would be her's it seems....

So many presents to buy and wrap before Christmas Day,

A fortune on carrots to fuel Rudolph's sleigh !

Children worldwide in their billions,

Needed a win on the Euromillions !

So without stopping, she rushed out shopping,

(Making sure Rudolph did no dropping !)....

She tucked the ticket into her pocket,

Back in the grotto kitchen cupboard, she did lock it....

It wasn't until half past seven that night,

As they sat by the firelight...

That YIPPEE !!! they realised they were all rich !!!

They'd won the Euromillions .... Mrs Christmas dropped a knitting stitch !

We've done it ! HOORAY ! We're the winners....

We can have twelve Christmas dinners !

Crackers and fairy lights, a mercedes parked on the lane and champagne,

In Summer, we can even take a trip to Spain on a 'plane !
