What an amaze rave Santa had, Wow it was mad !
When he moved into his ice – house !
Beneath the table, danced the tiny mouse !
As Mrs. Christmas prepared mince pies,
Santa looked up to stormy skies,
Some of the tasty morsels were a sight for sore eyes…..
In the grotto, he prepared pressies as a surprise !
“Hopefully, the snowstorm won’t break”, he said…. Come lay the table, let’s move the bed.
In the kitchen, it was all hands on deck, Sweep the floor, help with the mixin’ and pitch in ! Once the grandfather clock chimed half past seven,
In flew the fairy, all the way from Devon !
As all the gnomes started to arrive, the music began and everyone came alive !
The woollen hats and mittens were left in a muddle,
Outside in the garden, Rudolph splashed in a puddle !
As the stars glistened, outside in the trees, the owls listened….
While the lights flashed, to get their gifts, the gnomes dashed !
Everyone danced to rock around the clock….
That the ice cubes clinked, was no shock !
The eskimo slid in from next door, tripped on an ice cube and skidded across the floor !
Into Santa he slipped and crashed, on Santa’s buckle, his head bashed !
“Oh my word, what jolly fun ! Everyone come, have another bun !”
At the end of the evening, when every gnome had gone home, Santa and Mrs Christmas tidied their icy home.
They washed and put away the knives and forks, Picked up every one of the champagne corks.
Swept the floor and let in the dog….who had been hiding behind a snowy log ! Santa sat down and stoked the fire,
Letting out a BELCH ! as the flames rose higher ! “Christmas is such jolly fun!” he declared….
Mrs Christmas glanced the washing up….and rather despaired….
The gnomes stacked up every last one of the chairs….
As Santa and Mrs Christmas headed off to bed upstairs !
