Whenever Mrs Christmas cooks Lancashire hotpot....

Santa always arrives exactly on the dot !

He loved the taste of her meaty gravy...

A nibble on her pastry, made Santa crazy !

As he passed over Wigan pier,

He wondered if the grotto was getting near ?

The aroma of beef stew floated down Morecambe Bay !

As over all Lancashire, Santa zoomed in his sleigh...

He rushed down Jean's chimney pot...

'Cos he knew that the hotpot would hit the right spot !

(AND he was dying to eat the lot !)....

He dropped off the presents in everyone's stocking.....

His grumbling tummy was really quite shocking !

Down the M6, the Christmas fairy performed magic tricks....

Santa hoped that the traffic would disappear quick !

The gnomes were all coming for tea...

Would a panful be enough ? They'd have to wait and see !

A little bit of salt and pepper made the hotpot even better.....Santa sent them all invitations in a letter...

With a carrot or two chopped up in the stew... Santa would have to put his false teeth in to chew !

In Bolton, Santa called in on his friend Peter....

He warmed his feet on the radiator heater !

He knew that Mrs Christmas would have set the table by now...

And that he'd greet her, soon out of the snow !

So quickly he set off....hoping on hotpot soon to scoff...he hoped there'd be pickled onions 'n' stuff !
