Papa's Naughty Seagull Sally

When Papa's came to Warrington....the restaurant was loved by everyone !

No matter what you do, don't settle for stew,

Perhaps go to Sainsbury's or ASDA and have fish 'n' chips too !

Sally the seagull had the same idea -

To drop in for her favourite meal (as well as a bottle of beer !)

Sally didn't dally,

Quicker than a car racing rally, Sally headed up the alley....

It really wasn't dear, (with special offers for groups, I hear)....

Go to Pinner's Brow and you'll find a real treat waiting there !

Although, as a bird, Sally couldn't read that well,

The waiter was friendly and said there were mushy peas as well !

The menu has an extensive choice,

"I'll have a sausage !", she said in a loud voice ....

The meat gravy drove everyone crazy,

There were even some left for a dozen gulls maybe !

Her other friends joined in too,

As in from the Irish Sea a few flew.....

Down past Office Outlet, the hungriest they'd ever been yet, I bet !

Cecil the smiley seagull put on a serviette !

The salt 'n' vinegar made Sally sneeze,

She ended up floating up on a breeze...

And fell back down on the chef's knees !

Papa's was a sheer delight,

A real treat on a fish Friday night !

"Don't leave your paper there on the floor," said the waiter as Sally head out the door.."Wherever you roam - always carry your litter home !"
