When the Computer Mouse Caught a Cold

Wintertime had come again...

The computer mouse was sneezing again !

Whenever she caught the flu ...

Off her whiskers flew...

She sneezed so much there was a gale - that blew minus a hundred and two !

Her nose shone red...she went early to bed...

With a bandage wrapped around her head !

She tucked her tail beneath the duvet...

"CALL THE IT DEPARTMENT !", you could hear the doctor say...

With a box of tissues by her side...

She couldn't stop sneezing - though she considerably tried !

She sipped some hot lemon with a drop of honey...

Everyone thought her glowing ears were funny !

She even bought some lozenges with her pocket money....

Her handkerchief...was bigger than belief...

She drank more than the Australian barrier reef !

When she took her temperature, the thermometer said..."My word, computer mouse - it's in the red !"

With a little bit of medicine and a very long rest...the computer mouse was soon better (well, the doctor did know best !)....
