Turnip the Turtle's Ice Cream Sundae

It was such a sunny day,

Turnip the Turtle's sundae was melting away...

Since Turnip couldn't eat it whole,

It dribbled down the glass bowl...

Chocolate sauce, all sticky and runny,

Covered his nose - he looked ever so funny !

The chocolate flake was more like a lake

You wouldn't believe the messy milkshake !

Turnip the Turtle loved ice cream,

A sundae a day was his very best dream

Chocolate, strawberry or simply vanilla,

For an ice cream sundae, he'd go to Manila !

He bought one every afternoon,

He was still eating by the light of the Moon .....

He loved the fruit at the bottom of the glass,

At sundae making, he was top of the class !

When the cherry at the top started to drop off,

His mouth watered and he started to scoff !

Turnip the Turtle didn't much care,

Even if the ice cream melted everywhere !

He left ice cream footprints along the shore...

He couldn't get enough of the stuff - he ALWAYS wanted more !
