Turnip the Turtle and the Shipwreck

Turnip the Turtle was scuttling along the seabed,

When he bumped into something and banged his head !

He didn't look wherever he was going,

And stumbled on a shipwreck without even knowing !

He had lost his way, heading out of the bay,

But he thought the Shipwreck would be a great place to stay and play !

He bedded down for the night....

Told the electric eels to turn off the light!

The shipwreck was quiet, really quite boring,

Before very long, Turnip the Turtle was quite loudly snoring !

Around about Midnight, he jumped upright,

When suddenly he saw an apparition, ghostly and white !

A shadowy figure passed by the deck,

It must have been haunted, this maritime shipwreck !

A ship's bell rang out as well...

"What's your name ?!", asked Turnip, "Do tell !"....

"I am the ghost of Captain Hook...

Here is some of the treasure I took !"

The ghost showed Turnip some diamonds and gold ...

Including an emerald that for a million coins had been sold

He told his stories of pirates bold...

Which left Turnip shivering - not from the cold !

Gadzooks ! The ghost gave him funny looks ... kind of remarkable from one of the high seas' villainous crooks !

And even more from the spook of Captain Hook !
