Turnip the Turtle and the BBQ on the Beach

Turnip the Turtle fancied a new type of dish -

He'd had enough of jellyfish !

He spied around the beach......there was nothing much

Only a burger van and he didn't much like them as such !

A few rusty coke cans and newspaper from fish and chips...

There was an apple core in the bin - but all that was left were the pips !

The ice cream van read closed on the sign....

So did the pier restaurant where he'd hoped to dine...

What to do ? Now his belly was rumbling ?

All the baby Turtle's were also grumbling !

Octavia the Opera Singing Octopus had a brilliant idea....

Let's throw a party now Summertime's here !

In the sand dunes, they collected driftwood and sticks...

Made a fire upon a pile of bricks !

Willy the Walrus brought some trout...

Wally sent invitations out !

Oh what fun ! (soon the ribs were done)

Playing cricket in the heat of the Sun

There were sausages and even baked beans....

Wally the Walrus urged everyone to eat their greens !

A roll or two ... some lollipops to chew ....

There was even lemonade that ffizzed through and through !

Beneath the stars and in the light of the Moon,

All the animals departed saying they'd do it again soon !
