There's a moose loose about this house ! Santa cried out, one Christmas Eve...

However did it get here ? You really wouldn't believe...but he made such a mess, everyone wanted him to leave !

The loose moose ran down the stairs...tripped over the table and knocked into the chairs....scattering Santa's Christmas wares...

In the kitchen, hot on its tail...

The moose slid down the bannister rail...before from the letterbox, picking up the mail !

Off into the garden shed,

The moose huffed and puffed, going red ! Where it left muddy footprints in the flower bed !

The moose ran along the street...

Followed by the policeman on his beat...

"Come back here !" you naughty little critter...chasing him, they all soon became much fitter !

Out of the door, the fairy flew...

Followed by every gnome in the grotto, too....

Then finally the moose tagged behind...

Hoping to see what crumbs he could find !

Around the corner, they did wind...

Taking a right instead of left turn because the route was unsigned !

Don't know where he came from...don't know where he was going...

Dont know if he realised the trail he left in the grass that was growing !

Rudolph also joined in the race....and the pair of them together zoomed off into outer space...

The winner made it home first in time for dinner...a few pounds lighter and a few inches thinner !
