The vowel owl in Jack's beanstalk howled in vowels. "A - E - I - O" - from morning until night he loudly twit - twoo to the crow - then he added a "U" to the robin in the hedgerow. Farmer Giles put down his trowel, just to come and hear the owl. As the beanstalk grew and grew, the vowel owl sat on a branch and let out an "Oooo".

1. What is the difference between a vowel and a consonant ?

2. What is the most commonly used letter, the most commonly used vowel and the most commonly used consonant in the English language ?

A - Vow A Vowel

Add either A - E - I - O or U to complete the words.

1. Which is the correct one to use to the ends of these words ?

2. Which words are words in themselves, without adding a vowel at all ?
