One Christmas the snowman and the scarecrow were stood outside in the snow....

It was cold and dark - they didn't have anywhere else to go...don't you know ?!

Although they shivered and jumped up and down on the icy floor..

Nothing it seemed could keep them warm...and the snow was falling down more...

At minus one hundred degrees...the pair of them both started to sneeze...

Stood in a puddle right up to their

knees !

The shed door was locked and the front door blocked...

So on the window of the grotto the pair of them knocked...

"Please, Mrs Christmas' give us a scarf...out here in bad weather is really no larf !!!

Perhaps even a glove or two...some Wellington boots and a bobble hat,

too !"

The Christmas fairy waved her magic wand...Suddenly on the step a whole set of clothes did land ! Even an umbrella jumped from off the hatstand !

The snowman and the scarecrow put the clothes on...

They looked the smartest snowman and scarecrow - second to none !

Along the garden path, up and down...

They paraded their attire before heading off into town !

As they made their way down the street...the pair looked a treat...

Skipping to the beat, all tidy and neat !

Flying by, high in the sky,

The robin and the crow passed them by...

Colder and colder...they perched on their shoulders...sat at the side of the road on rocky cold boulders !

As they merrily chattered and tweeted away..they almost forgot it was nearly Christmas day...

Until they saw Santa overhead in his sleigh !!!!
