The Snowman's Spinning Dickie Bowtie

Out in the garden, one Christmas Eve,
The snowman was so cold, he started to sneeze...
He had no scarf, you wouldn't believe,
And only a waistcoat without any sleeve
His scarf was full of holes...his Wellington boots too in the soles....
Things were chilly in the North Pole (even for snowmen and especially for moles !)
He tried a scarf - which didn't fit right....
The stripy schooltie he had was too tight !
So he settled on a spinning dickie bow in red and white !
It was only when he jumped about...
Started to scream, dance and shout...
That the bowtie twisted and turned like a trout !
As the dickie bowtie was magic....and did a trick....the snowman floated off quite quick !
Just like a helicopter...in the wind it spinned...
Santa watched and widely grinned !
Through the clouds....up, up and away....
The spinning dickie bowtie took them through Santaland on a holiday !
As the snowman set off...he picked up his stuff...and together they disappeared in a cloud of puff !
All that could be seen...was a puddle in the green...a hole in the snow, you know, where the snowman once had been !
