The Snowman's New Hat

The snowman was feeling the cold...

Winter was much harder now he was getting old ....

Mrs Christmas's knitting needles had flown its last spark...

It was minus 100 degrees outside in the dark...

Although the snowman had a long scarf...

It didnt cover his ears...it really was a larf...!!!

He stomped his feet up and down...

Spread muddy footprints all over town...

But nothing really made much difference as such...

He still felt the Winter far too much...

So the Christmas fairy head off into town...

With the robin redbreast, they both soon had flown down...

For a hat....to see if they had any...

Saved up all her pocket money....

At the shop...they did stop...

She picked up a hat with a bobble on top...

Stripy red and white...it looked like it would fit just right....

The fairy hoped that it wouldnt be too tight !

And that the snowman would approve, she thought he really just might...

As the snowman shivered,

The parcel was delivered....

Out in the garden, the snowman tried it on...

Christmas was really so much fun !

Although it was freezing...

The snowman was made of ice and he was sneezing !

The magic bobble hat soon did the trick...

Very soon, he was warmed up quite quick !

In a puddle of icy water he soon found himself...

Being mopped up by a busy little elf !

Before long he had melted to only 3 inches high...

With a stripy bobble hat sticking up into the sky ...
