The magic hand could do anything, anytime, anywhere. The only trouble was that the magic hand did not know left from right ... or up from down. It caused quite a great deal of chaos and commotion. All the magic hand had to do was wave ... and suddenly magic was sprinkled all over the room. Except that the magic hand waved "goodbye" at the same time as waving "hello" - which left everyone confused. The hand clapped ... and suddenly music played. Except that the music fast forward at the same time as rewinding. He lifted a paintbrush and soon there were pretty pictures painted everywhere, with splashes of red, blue and green. Except that the magic hand dropped the paintbrush at the same time as being picked up. One time, the magic hand decided to pick up a toothbrush and clean it's teeth (whilst painting it's fingernails, of course). Except that the magic hand - not knowing it's left from right - painted it's teetha dn cleaned it's fingernails. It didn't matter much, however, because the teeth ended up the most multi - coloured and it's fingernails the cleanest. When the magic hand pointed a finger, radar signals were sent to the other side of the universe. Although signals were even picked up on Mars where the aliens used the radar signals as a new kind of electricity to light up the dark sky in the universe, except the radar signals went the wrong way around the sun to get there. When the magic hand wrote a letter, it posted itself through the letterbox. The magic hand could fix a car, clean the windows and mow the lawn all at the same time. The magic hand could type faster than any other hand and swirl a cup of tea at the same time as making toast. The magic hand buttered bread and cut sandwiches as fast as monkeys eat nuts. Washed the pots whilst making dinner. The magic hand came in very useful, indeed, for knocking on doors when the milk needed bringing indoors. It could put the kettle on whilst frying eggs. The magic hand tied shoe laces at the same time as fastening buttons and bow - ties. Zipped up trousers whilst putting on a coat. Magic.
