The Hungry Spider Who Ate Too Many Flies

It seemed that nothing could quench the hungry spider's spidery appetite. The spider licked his lips and fluttered his wings as his fly bread got buttered. There were fried fly eggs for breakfast, fly porridge and fly yoghurt ... grilled flies on toast and fly sandwiches ... even fly soup and a fly Sunday roast. Fly sundaes with strawberry jam and cream - there were so many flies, that the hungry spider thought he was in a dream. It didn't really matter to the hungry spider the kind of fly, just as long as there were lots of them - bluebottles and greenflies, dragonflies and fleas - the spider's web buzzed in the breeze as the flies buzzed in. It didn't matter that the spider had toothache, or his dentures didn't fit ... he just kept chomping and chomping a healthy portion of fly pie and chips ... until he bit his lip ! Nor did he care if he had no knife and fork - he opened a can of flies and popped a fly champagne cork. Then the hungry spider ate fly fish and chips - he ate so many flies on a sandwich, that he really thought he would flip. He finished his fly meal ... wiped away fly crumbs with a dandelion serviette ... though he knew he would be eating soon, another fly omlette, I bet ! In the supermarket, the hungry spider piled his trolley with flies and pies - he piled flies so high, that his supermarket trolley broke a wheel 'cos of a fly two for the price of one fly away deal. He ate a tasty fly dessert - of fly toffee, fly coffee and fly cake - and when he finally burped, his burp buzzed. The hungry spider gobbled them all up ... he even gobbed up the knives and forks, the saucers and the cups ! The hungry spider ate so many flies that he started to grow wings and flew right out of his spider's web. But the hungry spider ate so many fly sandwiches that he could hardly fly at all - his belly grew and grew - and he fell with a PLOP ! on the floor. Soon the spider needed a catapult to help him have lift off - but it wasn't long, of course, before the hungry spider decided to stop and scoff.

The Spider Hidden Inside Game

The hungry spider not only ate all he fly bread, but he gobbled up some of the letters in these words, too. Can you help the hungry spider to spell them correctly by adding, in any order, the letters "IDE" and filling in the gaps ?
