The Hungry Alligator Who Ate A Whole Gate

The hungry alligator spent so long swimming in the pool, that very soon, he found that he was ravenous - not at all that cool ! The hungry alligator gnashed his teeth, he hadn't eaten for at least a week - he tried to sneak a peek to see if there was anything about the jungle that he could eat. The fishermen had fished all the fish and he was left with an empty dish. The hungry alligator's tummy rumbled quite a bit ... so he found a quiet rock where he could think and sit. As he began to snore, he dreamed of the jungle - where there were coconuts galore ... but he quickly realised that none of them were close to the floor. The alligator was only twelve inches high ... so coconuts from the jungle for an alligator would be small fry. As an alligator, although he was a good menu - creator, the shops were all closed today ... so he would have to only dream of tasty fish as he dosed the day away. The hungry alligator's mouth was watering, he asked the butcher - but he said nothing needed slaughtering. Thinking that he'd never find meat again, he considered the option of becoming vegetariain. Luckily, the hungry alligator met a farmer, who was harvesting wheat - the alligator asked him if he had anything tasty to eat. He gave him an egg - freshly laid by his hen ... but as soon as the alligator gobbled it up, he was hungry again. The cow, who was chewing grass nearby in the field, moo - ed to the alligator, that he could have one of the apples that he had recently peeled. The alligator chomped it, with utter delight ... but then his belly started rumbling again ... as he flashed his pearly whites. The alligator decided to feast like the cow ... and chomp up the grass that the farmer was cutting with his plough. The hungry alligator took a bite - not nearly enough to satisfy his enormous appetite. His opened his jaws as wide as could be, but unfortunately slipped in the mud, and took a bite off the branch of a tree. The hungry alligator then munched a few leaves, he even crunched through his alligator coat sleeves. The hungry alligator called to the pig - to see if he had anything more tasty than a twig. The pig replied that he should try fungi, so the alligator went to the edge of the field where it was groovy for an alligating fun guy. Although, there wasn't much room for mushroom - the alligator squeezed right in ... and very soon started chomping fungi, fearing he'd soon be thin. Of course, the field was muddy, but he took the advice of his farmyard buddy. Before long, the hungry alligator had splashed in so many puddles he ended up in a mushroom muddle. As he licked his lips, he accidentally slipped. He hit his head on a log and landed in a bog,a she tripped. Unfortunately it was the farmyard gate, that the alligator accidentally ate. "OUCH !" the alligator cried out in pain, trying to munch the lock and not show his disdain. The hungry alligator's tummy still rumbled as he felt an electric shock and his front tooth crumbled - no wonder he grumbled ! The hungry alligator found farmyard gates weren't tasty at all ... perhaps he should have eaten the door to the hall.
