The Goblin's Great Adventure

The goblin's great adventure started at the end of the woods ... and travelled down the winding path, like all great adventures should. The goblin's great adventure was the best adventure a goblin could have ... on the way, the goblin fought off dragons who tried to burn the goblins with their fire. Witches cast spells on the goblin, hoping that he might lose his way ... but the goblin fought off the evil spells with a good deal of courage and a bit of magic, too. The goblin's great adventure took him to a tree house ... where the goblin climbed up into the leaves. He looked down around on the ground ... and all he saw was fleas. The goblin's great adventure then went on to the sea, where the goblin paddled on the beach and then climbed up in each tree. The goblin's great adventure took him to a cliff, where he took a long, great leap into the breach that left him feeling quite stiff. The goblin's great adventure winded down the lane - then off to meet a wizard - then back down the lane again. The goblin's great adventure took him to a field - where he chatted with a scarecrow ... and helped him with his yield. The goblin collected poppies and other kinds of flowers. Daisies, pansies and daffodils - he was collecting for hours. The goblin called in at the shops - where he picked up some stuff. Some bread, some beans and some maize and some shampoo for his dandruff. The goblin's great adventure, then went onto the lake ... and the goblin collected even more on his great goblin adventure escape. © Jacqueline Richards 2005
