Christopher the crocodile not a happy chap,

He was getting in a considerable flap !

"Somebody come and get me out !", he snapped....

As in between two rocks his tail got trapped....

"Ouch !", loudly, he cried out in pain,

Wondering if it was going to rain ?

He'd only being lazing by the waterhole,

When suddenly an earthquake made the boulders roll....

Down the mountainside, mud started to slide so slick....

Christopher the crocodile tried to hide quick

But it was no use...he couldn't get loose...

Caught between two rocks, as tight as a noose

Before long, the croc was getting hungry and his stomach churned....

Trying to get free, he twisted and he turned !

It was been a while since his last meal,

The look of the deer had real appeal...

After forty winks, he asked the others,

"What do you think ? How can i get out of here, without causing too much of a stink ?"

The lion roared so loud hoping to crack...

The stones into pieces, but they just rolled back !

The hippopotamus advised a rope,

That he and the rhinocerous could tug in hope !

The fish said pour water there,

The rabbit said bounce them like a March hare

The snake suggested to "Sliver and slide",

The elephant said he could open the rocks wide

Luckily with his trunk its considerable size,

He managed to lift the rocks, before their very eyes...

With the weather so hot, he was off like a shot,

He didn't care if he left footprints or not!

Dancing to the tune of the crocodile rock
