The Day that Christopher the Crocodile's Deckchair Broke

Christopher the crocodile had been swimming around all ay,

When he spied a deckchair on the sandy beach in the bay....

He was so tired, he decided it was time to retire...

He head out of the waterhole, as he was just about to expire !

The blue and white stripes were just his type....

As he sat, he munched on an apple, juicy and ripe...

But it was so cheap, he collapsed in a heap....

You wouldn't believe the number of times he said "BLEEP !"

On the floor, bruised and confused,

Christopher the crocodile noticed his tail was contused...

The croc asked the rhinocerous to bandage his tail,

He thought that the crocodile was looking pale....

He gave him a pill, so he wouldn't feel so ill,

Christopher the crocodile was really poorly still !

I know what will make you feel better...

A cream cracker and a tasty piece of feta !

So all the animals had a picnic together,

Well that's what happens by the waterhole whatever the weather !

Some biscuits and a slice of cake,

An ice-cream with a chocolate flake...

Summer was really a time of fun,

Playing cricket with everyone !

How they all laughed at the crocodile,

When they saw the deckchair sat there quite a while !
