The Day Esmerelda the Naughty Witch's Spells Went All Wrong

Esmerelda had a terrible cold,

The pages of her spell book wouldn't unfold....

Her broomstick had broken (or so I am told)

No wonder Esmerelda's magic wasn't so bold

In fact, nothing seemed to work well at all,

She cast a spell - making the cat ten feet tall !

The next one made the birds a third less small,

Which made them look like humble bees on the wall...

In the kitchen, she was equally ne'er do well....

The cooking recipe that she cooked up wasn't at all that swell....

She looked up and it rained as well !

However she did that, that naughty witch never will tell !

Esmeralda magicked the night into day,

Which mixed up everything in the Milky Way !

The stars around Mars went the wrong way,

Even the Sun and the Moon began to sway !

That naughty Esmerelda, up to her usual tricks,

Down fell the house in a pile of bricks !

The flowers and the trees blew in her breeze,

Off fell every one of the leaves !

It seemed that nothing could stop her, no matter what,

As she conjured abracadabra!!! Jumping up and down on the spot !
