The Computer Mouse's Trip Around the Office

The computer mouse was looking for a little bite to eat....

A piece of cheese would make his day complete - a real treat !

He shuffled to the end of the desk and off he lept...

Looking for wherever the lunchboxes were kept ! Perhaps a corner where the cleaner hadn't swept

In the fridge in the kitchen through the door...

The computer mouse had heard there was a store

His lights flashed as off he crashed...

Soon on elevenses he tucked in and gnashed...

Like a hamster with cheese in both cheeks...

The computer mouse hadn't had this much fun in weeks !

On cream crackers he munched away...

A touch of lunch, he crunched all day

A banana and an apple pie...

Belonging to the secretary, he did try

Soon he was left picking up every crumb....

Vacuuming the carpet, he buzzed - life was so humdrum !

He cleaned around the waste paper bin

Polishing the office so it was shiny like a pin

He dusted the filing cabinet...

This was the busiest afternoon of the week yet, i bet !

He made sure, there were no crumbs left on the floor...

He devoured the lot - and still wanted more !

His whiskers twitched and he wiggled his ears - he hadn't had this much fun in years !
