The Computer Mouse's Lost Whisker

As everyone knows.....

The computer mouse was a dapper, young chap....

He even cleaned his tail before taking a nap !

Polished his sharp two front teeth,

Even vacuumed the mousepad underneath....

No wonder the office cat began to purr...

When he saw how well the computer mouse brushed his fur !

The computer mouse liked to look smart...

He even combed his ears on each side of his part...

So you can imagine his utter distress...

The day his whiskers got in a bit of a mess !

When the computer mouse looked in the mirror - you wouldn't believe what he saw....

Five whiskers on one side of his face (but on the other, there were four !)

What to do ? It was already ten past two...

At three o'clock his friend was taking him to the zoo !

Quickly, the computer mouse looked about...

"Has anyone seen my lost whisker ?", he began to shout

Fearing that everyone would begin to stare,

He checked beneath the office chair...

On the photocopier and in the drawer....

What a great kind of way to office - explore !

....but no whisker at all could be found,

Although the computer looked around....

Suddenly he felt the urge to sneeze...

Perhaps it was a crumb of cheese ?!

Atishhoooo ! ... he blew his nose on a handkerchief...

He hoped the police would catch the whisker - thief !

Good grief ! It was beyond belief...

There tickling his nose was the lost whisker - oh ! what a relief !
