The Computer Mouse's Karaoke Night

One evening when the secretary went home to bed....

There was an all night party in the office instead !

The stapler sent out invitations to arrive at five,

Suddenly the whole place came alive !

The filing cabinet opened and shut....

The hole punch jumped up from where it was put...

The computer mouse's lights were flashing....

So much off the desktop he went crashing !

He danced and partied all day long...

The music played on you tube his favourite song

His number one was Elvis, which he thought was best...

No wonder on the mousepad he couldn't rest !

Coldplay, Metallica, even U2

And from the eighties, "Only you", by Yazoo !

So many hits he almost forgot all the words

(At least he remembered Turn, Turn, Turn by the Byrds...)

The computer mouse sang so loud,

That the photocopier woke up ...

He started printing lyrics and spilled a coffee cup !

The waste paper bin...started to grin...

He loved ice and lemon in a small glass of gin !

The karaoke party at the office was a real delight...

Everyone had a great time singing....

Till 6am that night !!!
