The Christmas When Santa Got A Broken Heart

Santa didn't mean to make the Christmas tree fall apart, but one year, he knocked it over and the glass decorations of hearts got broke. He quickly tried to stick them back together again - but there were shatterings all over the windowpane. He feared that he'd never piece them back together again ! The Christmas fairy waved her magic wand to see if a trick might fix it - but it was hopeless ! There was nothing that could stick it. One of the gnomes brought a roll of sellotape, but he stuck the heart back together in the wrong shape ! "No ! No ! No !", Santa cried, "A cube just won't do ! What I really wanted was you to stick it back together just like new !". Later, Mrs. Christmas was also broken - hearted, when Santa off around the world departed (but at least then she could get her cooking started !). Obviously, Santa, loved Christmastime - so when his Christmas decorations broke, Santa thought that it was no joke !
