The Christmas that Santa shopped at ALDI

Was the best celebration ever...it didn't even matter about the weather !!!

Santa headed off on Christmas Eve.....well that was the only time he had annual leave....

He took a bag that cost 5 pence,

And parked the sleigh at the side of the fence....

Into his trolley, he placed some elf - crackers...asking the way to the trees to one of the shelf - stackers !!!

Outside, the trees were all in a line ...

He chose the biggest - ten feet nine !

All leafy and green with a robin on top...

He couldn't believe how many baubles ALDI had got !

Blue ones, green ones, silver and red,

But Mrs Christmas preferred the gold ones instead !

Plenty tinsel and fairy lights,

He wanted to spot the tree from his sleigh in full flight !!!

There was even a star to stick on the top branch,

He picked up a bottle of brandy for after lunch !

A very kind lady took his cash,

Then back to the grotto Santa did dash !

Gerome the gnome helped lug it back,

Onto the sleigh with the presents they stacked.....

Then across the sky, together they did fly...

It took three hours to distribute the toys.....and that's why !
