The Christmas that the Fairy's Wand Lost its Magic

"Fairy Mary, my boots need cleaning !", cried Santa,

"They're full of mud and at last night's party got covered in Fanta !"

The Christmas fairy went to find her wand...

Didn't much fancy cleaning them by hand...

It was in the kitchen, with the knives, forks and spoons....

Stuck up in a pot the window sill singing Christmas tunes...

As soon as she picked the wand up...

She spilled her breakfast coffee cup....

The gnome awoke with a very loud CRASH !

The wand broke and fell in bits with a BASH !

Off the star on top did SMASH !

Spilling Moondust everywhere with a SPLASH !

One of the from the bookshelves...

Went to get glue to fix it themselves...

The robin brought a piece of string...

And tried to tie up the broken thing !

The snowman brought some sellotape...but the wand still looked a funny shape !

Not at all like a magic wand should....

(And Santa's boots were still covered in mud !)

The Christmas fairy waved the wand at the tree to see...

If any of the magic could be set free...

Nothing very much happened at all...

The lights stayed off and the tree still looked small...

No Moondust....and the baubles didn't shine...

Would Christmas be ruined without the forest pine ?

Along came a genie....from Aladin's cave...

Shouted "ABRACADABRA !!!" and gave the wand a wave...

Just like a genie's lamp...Santa rubbed it till he got cramp...

Then...wait for it...yes, you guessed...

The magic returned and Christmas was once more blessed !

Task....Moondust

3. Finish the story....what then happened to Santa's boots ?
