The Christmas that Santa Visited Manchester Christmas Markets

Every year, outside Manchester Town Hall,

Santa visited a place that had it all !

"I LOVE MANCHESTER !" Santa declared...

Christmas shopping there is so

Inspired !

First, he bought a holly wreath...

And sat down on a prickly leaf !

Good grief ! Santa cried out in pain...

Then started to mouch about again !

Spilling his hot chocolate, Santa got up -

He paid £3 to keep the cup !

Santa bought a rocky road...which he munched as he mingled in the crowd !

Ho ! Ho ! Ho ! In three inches of snow...

A dozen gnomes began to follow slow !

Some toffee nougat which tasted nice...some mulled wine with sugary spice !

For his redbreast, Santa bought some birdseed,

Which the robin pecked with incredible speed !

Ate a curry Bratwurst, yummy for his lunch...

A dozen sweet humbugs for Santa to crunch !

Santa tried on a woolly scarf and bobble hat...

The hand-crafted jewelry is where it's at !

The Christmas elves busied themselves...

Around the choir, as they sang themselves !

In the Christmas fairy flew...

Bought a tree and a decoration or two !

Every garden grows one at that...but if its from Manchester markets it's magic - everyone knows that !

Santa loved the Christmas market...

Took his sleigh - plenty room to park it !

He managed to get most of his gifts...

Even a jack-in-a-box jumping lifts

Open until 21st December...

The Christmas market is one to remember !
