The Christmas that Santa Spent in a Tent

One Christmas, Santa's sleigh broke down....

The wheel fell off on the other side of town...

The local hotel was completely booked up....

There wasn't even a spot on Mars when he looked up...

The pub was full...

The weather was dull...

There was nowhere to stay from here to Magull...

Santa tried a cardboard box...

Now he was homeless, there was nowhere to hang his socks !

He put a tent onto two big blocks...

In between the river and two big rocks !!!

Camping was usually so much fun...

But not in the snow - only in the Sun !

He put his boots outside in the snow...

Put his sleeping bag on the floor with a throw...

He cooked a supper of scrambled eggs...

Put his feet up and rested his legs...

Before long, Santa was snoring away...

Like every year....the cat purred in the hay...

The good thing about a tent...is you don't have to pay rent...

Not much money needs to be spent,

Unless it rains and the pegs are bent !

You can stay anywhere from here to Ghent.....
