The Christmas that Santa Shopped at TESCO

Every year, Santa's favourite place to go,

Was shopping at his local TESCO....

They had juice and wines galore,

Great for the party with the elves next door !

White and red....(even fresh bread),

Although Mrs Christmas preferred mince pies instead....

Lots of dates, grapes and strawberries,

Apples, pears and even cranberries....

Over the tannoy, Santa heard the carols trumpet,

He munched in the cafe on a hot buttered crumpet !!!

Some nuts and crisps and things to pick,

Even better a candy stick !!!

Outside the singers sang some hymms,

(He headed off to buy a bottle of Pimm's!)

Cheese, beef and ham,

Egg and cress and spam....

What else do you think ? (There was plenty to eat and drink)....his favourite champagne was the colour pink !

A Christmas tree - ten feet three,

Every type of decoration you could think or see !

Even tinsel and fairy lights,

Tesco helped make the grotto bright !

The turkey that Santa chose for the table,

Was the biggest ever seen - it needed a stable !

On Christmas day, as they tucked into the roast,

"We shopped at TESCO!!!" you could hear Santa boast most ....
