The Christmas that Santa Packed the Presents in a Suitcase

Every Christmas Santa hoped to be, off on his way by half past three...

He piled up the sleigh eventually...

And quickly gobbled down all his tea...

But the sleigh was soon over - full...

Which Santa said he was unable to pull...

Instead of a box, or stocking socks...

Rudolph suggested a suitcase might be good

To carry the goodies and the Christmas pud....

Mrs Christmas fetched one from off the top of the wardrobe....

Big enough to fit presents for all of the globe...

As Santa was still bellowing...

In they put the following:

For Mrs Christmas..

Some new pj's

A cookbook to cook in different ways

A hair brush

A lipstick and blush

Some shampoo and body wash...

A pair of socks

Some toy blocks

Presents for under the Christmas tree...

A bag for their shopping spree..

Some dinner

A lottery ticket - sure to be a winner !

A scarf and bobble hat...

A brand new collar for the big fat cat...

A mousetrap...another flat cap...

A pillow for when Santa took a nap...

Some jewelry - necklaces and diamond rings...

And a million other things...

Santa got the elves, toys from off the shelves...

Then asked them to sit on the suitcase themselves...

As they all pressed down, Santa tried to lock it....

And he put the key into his pocket...

Together they carried the case to the sleigh

...and made a hasty getaway....
