The Christmas that Santa Moved All the Furniture

The grotto was particularly untidy one Christmas, 2017, i think...

There was washing on the floor and dishes piled high in the kitchen sink...

The floor needed sweeping, but the gnomes were all sleeping...

Somebody really needed to do some house-keeping...

The door was on its hinges and the floorboards were creaking !

In the bath the taps were leaking !

Mrs Christmas had had enough...and told Santa Claus to clear up his stuff !

She fetched some paint and a brush...

Christmas was soon approaching so they had to rush !

With the mop and broom....they didn't stop...

They set about cleaning every room...

With Mrs Christmas's brand new vacuum...

The elves wiped the shelves,

The robin cleared the table...

Together they tidied up as quick as they were able !

Whilst the fairy was putting the furniture in a pile...

Santa rested a little while...

The chair he sat on was cracked and old...

The chair leg broke and off he rolled !

The table was chipped and then Santa slipped...

His trousers tore and suddenly wripped !

This was no good - worms in the wood...

In fact...

None of the furniture looked any good !

So off the family set...despite the snow and the wet...

To the best furniture shop in the town, i bet !!!

Furniture World had it all...

Even a hat stand to put in the hall !

A brand new bed, on which to put the stocking socks...

For Santa's wellington boots a jolly big box !

Some new cupboards and a rocking chair...

A lovely bookshelf - Santa bought a pair!

Furniture world was the best in town...

And the sale kept all the prices down !
