The Christmas that Santa Arrived by Elephant

Did you know ? Santa doesn't only deliver presents in the snow....by Midnight he can be found...somewhere over Africa touring around !

As soon as he reaches the equator...the temperature soars and the heat is much greater !

He takes off his socks and Wellington boots....

It can get quite sticky in Christmas

Soon he's tucking into exotic fruits....

And drinking beer from ginger roots....

Back to work....he still had gifts to take...

A Taylor Swift DVD and a cake to bake....

His sleigh was still loaded up high...

So stuck in a swamp and didn't want to fly....

He tried to push it...but though he huffed...

All that happened was he got rather puffed...

The sleigh didn't budge one single jot...

Though even Rudolph was tugging a

lot !

Along in the jungle came an elephant through a bush

Asked good ol' Santa if he always was in such a rush ?

He raised his trunk...some lagoon water drunk...

Into the swamp, the sleigh further sunk !

O dear ! What a mess....

Christmas was going to be in March, no less !

Until, that is, the elephant had a word...

With his other friends in the animal herd...

A dozen of them soon appeared...

Out of the swamp, the sleigh they steered...

And all of Santa's worries quickly disappeared !

They piled the gifts up...and lifted Santa up...

Hot on their trail followed a pup !

For the children in the villages...there still were bells ringing...

But this year...from an elephant, the presents he was flinging !

They came out of their mud huts to see what Santa was bringing...

As they waved him off, there was carol singing !
