The Christmas that Rudolph's Nose Didn't Shine

Usually, in Winter, Rudolph caught a cold...

Thats why his nose shines, or so i am told....

Usually at a minus hundred degrees...

His nose shone even brighter whenever he started to sneeze....

He lost his hankerchief over Norway one day,

Coughing his way across the entire Milky Way....

Snuffled and sniffed...atishooing...

His voice was all croaky when he started to sing...

So it was hardly surprising when his nose didn't shine...

It wasn't to do with the fact he'd had no wine....

Unfortunately, now, the sleigh had no light...

With Rudolph not lighting up the sleigh bright at night...

Santa drove the sleigh to the car mechanic...

Explained that Christmas was really rather manic...

With all those gift labels to read...

Perhaps a headlamp is what he really did need !

Or even a torch would do...that would light the way across the universe as he flew...

A candle might not do the job at all...

It would probably blow out as soon as he left the hall...

A bunsen burner may provide a bit of heat...

Or even a bonfire at the end of every street !

In the end, what he decided to do....

Was to buy a maglite...for each of the elfy crew...

That way they could easily read the map...and on the back of the sleigh Santa could perhaps take a nap !
