The Christmas Santa Moved House with Keymove

Santa wanted to move house

He had had enough of the mouse !

He thought of an igloo, or even a tent....

He even thought of a grotto to rent....

A flat (with a cat?),

A place to put his hat....

He wanted a house where he could put a mat !

So off Santa went on his sleigh,

Down Orford Lane, one Christmas day....

He'd been saving up for a while...

And he wanted a grotto with Winter style....

He looked in the window - there were loads...

But he wanted one away from the roads

A pretty, little village maybe....

Where he could have the gnomes for afternoon tea

The Christmas fairy wanted somewhere extra - ordinairy....

But Rudolph wanted somewhere a little less scary...

The snowman said (instead)

Somewhere with a garden and a shed....

Where he could keep his tools for the flowerbed....

A flat ? No,

Mrs Christmas only wanted somewhere that...

She wouldn't drop her mince pies with a SPLAT !

At Keymove Santa found the lot....

You wouldn't believe the selection that they'd got !

There were big ones, small ones,

One and three storeys high....

There was even a building that reached the sky !

Santa chose a grotto, really quite quaint...

Although it did need a lick of paint !
