The Christmas Santa Landed in the Amazon Jungle

One year, Santa's SATNAV broke down....

The wind had become decidedly worse and off course, they were completely blown...

Santa wasn't sure, which direction they had flown...

But for sure, it was nowhere near Christmastown !

What could be greater...than over the equator? The presents would have to be delivered later !

Santa looked down through the clouds,

To where millions of people were waiting in crowds !

There was nowhere for the sleigh to park...Anyway, he couldn't see in the dark !

When the full Moon shone...he could see they had gone,

Over the jungle and the presents weighed a ton !

Santa pulled up, to check the map...

Before long, he was taking a nap !

A lion roared, as Santa snored,

The sounds of the elephants, he adored !

He awoke to the sound of chimpanzees...and hundreds of monkeys swinging through the trees !

Parrots cried out, "Santa's about !!! Watch out Rudolph is wandering about !"

The tiger peeped a little look,

Christmas was just like Jungle book !

It was hot, a hundred degrees,

Santa had still got, presents upto his knees !!!

He began handing them out one by one,

To the giraffe and the snake, until they were gone !!!

"Are you having a larf ?! A bobble hat and a scarf !!! It is shocking ! A Christmas stocking..." some of the animals exclaimed...

"It's not not a heater we need !" said a cheetah in the weeds,

"Something cool would be rather nice !"

So Santa looked on his sleigh and found some ice !

With mango juice and banana fruit...

It tasted delish...though a funny kind of Christmas dish !

A holiday in the jungle was Santa's Christmas wish !!
