The Christmas Santa Got Lost Walking the Dog

If you're Santa, you need to be on time,

Not caught in the pub, drinking lager and lime ....

But if you need to walk the dog...

No point to sitting on a log in the fog...

Just like Santa one year, in fact...

Christmas got completely cracked !

There was nothing that Christmas lacked...

Santa thought as the sack he packed !

Christmas had to be put on hold...

Because Santa was caught in the cold...

Christmas started to unfold...

With hundreds of presents, or so I'm told...

As Santa Claus turned the corner....

And the dog woofed loudly all forlorner !

Mrs Christmas asked where was the fairy ?

Walking the dog with Santa quite nearby....

Santa threw a bone in the wood,

And picked up his phone, as all Santa's should...the dog woofed...Santa coughed....together a plate of mince pies they scoffed !

The time on the clock moved on and on...

Santa and the dog were having so much fun x

They ran about and shouted out loud !

They didn't care if walking the dog wasn't allowed ! Before long Santa had drawn a crowd....

Someone shouted out....what's all this about ? I'm sure you've got hundreds of presents to give out, no doubt !

Santa suddenly started to remember....it was the 25th of December !

He quickly head home...and asked Rudolph and Gerome the gnome....to show Santa the way home....

As quick as he could...Santa left the wood,

Leaving the dog to find his way home if he could !
