The Christmas Santa Got A New Tennis Racquet

One Christmas, Santa's Christmas present from the gnomes was a new tennis racquet. It came through the post, wrapped with a bow in a packet. Santa should have guessed what it was really, When it bounced off the kitchen table, And collided with the Christmas tree, nearly ! The snowman caught it and shot it back. The present threw across the garden, over the garden shed. It richocheted off the garden wall and almost hit the robin on his head ! That year, Christmas was the most bouncing ever ! Instead of Christmas boots, Santa wore tennis shoes. His sleigh ride to Wimbledon made it into the news ! When Santa hit the ball with his tennis racquet a little bit harder, It flew over the oven and landed mince pies in the larder !
