The Christmas Santa Came to Isabelle's House

The Christmas Santa came to Isabelle's house, Santa very nearly trod on the mouse !

Santa landed his sleigh on the roof,

Rudolph knocked a rooftile off with his clumsy old hoof !

In the night, the fairy lights,

Lit the way, all gay and bright !

Santa climbed into the chimney pot...and slid down the chimney...wow ! It was hot !

He stomped his boot on the rug of soot...

And went to see where her Christmas stocking was put !

Santa carried his sack to the bottom of the stairs,

And left piles of presents for Isabelle on the chairs !

Isabelle had asked for a new laptop,

And Santa had bought one at the local shop !

It weighed a ton...he switched it ON !

He added a doll, a train, a top that spun !

She loved her surprise !

(Santa loved his mince pies...)

And for Rudolph, there were carrot supplies !

A glass of sherry topped them off....

Santa took another, couldn't get enough of the stuff !!!

Before long, Santa was wobbling across the floor...

The cat head off towards the door !

With a loud CRASH ! Isabelle awoke....

Two of the windows smashed and broke !

Hip hip hooray ! It's Christmas Day !

Thank you Santa you could hear her say !
