The Christmas that Santa bought Mrs Christmas a Jamie Oliver cook book, didn't turn out quite as planned....

When the wand fell from the fairy's hand.....unusual things started to happen in Christmasland.

A sprinkle of moondust and a splatter of magic...meant that the cook book could do things quite spectacular...

The pages flipped.open...quite by themselves...and out popped one of Santa's elves...they fetched the salt n pepper off the shelves....then merrily started enjoying themselves...

No-one was more shocked than Gerome the gnome, who loved the smell of things cooking in their grotto home !

I fancy pastry, he declared hungrily....

Mince pies are tasty - let's have some for tea !

Jamies pasta recipe was delish....

But his rocket salad was Santa's favourite dish !

A twelve ounce steak...a piece of hake...

The noise in the kitchen kept even the snowman awake !

Mrs Christmas especially loved to bake....

She looked in Jamie's book to see what to make...

Delights of the season included the turkey roast...she had such a big one it required a bonfire to toast !

Jamie's crumble and custard was ideal...

But the strawberry dakaris had most party appeal !!!

Mrs Christmas kneaded bread with yeast...

He worried that skiing, he'd never make it up the piste !!

When Santa flew in from the East, in the grotto, there was an absolute feast...

Including a goose that was more of a beast...

As every Christmas dinner should, the five course meal finished with Christmas pud !!!

The elves were left to do the washing up...

Twelve saucers, twelve plates, twelve dishes and twelve cups !
